to the 64k or 4k intro competitions. So please go for quality, not quantity.)

What's changed since last year?
- No more 8 bit compos. After the great success of year 2007's 8 bit democompo, unfortunately we had no entries in 2008...
So we decided to not to do an 8 bit compo this year. If you still want to create an 8 bit demo, we recommend
Árok Party, which is an excellent 8 bit meeting, and hence a perfect place to enter
your contribution.
General rules applied for all compos
- entries will be preselected in all categories
- if a production violates Hungarian or European law, it will be disqualified
- if the production has unsure copyright status (ripped music, etc), it will be disqualified
- it's possible to send your entry on the net, but if you're not present on the party during the prizegiving,
fame is all you get, because we will not send the prizes after you.
- releases containing destructive code, trojan or virus will be revenged and disqualified
Intro/demo general rules:
If your program doesn't run on the compo machine, it will be disqualified
automatically. Of course you'll have a chance to try it out and fix, if
you are able to. If you bring your own hardware you will still have to
give us a binary of your release, which will be published, and no, there won't
be any exceptions. As Windows Vista came out, in case of PC entry try to be
compatible (however there will be no Vista on the compo machine), the same
stands for nVidia/ATI videocards, if possible try to make it work on both.
Max resolution is 1024x768, if you support more modes, we will choose this.
